Major Awards & Recognitions
2021	French postal department La Poste, in association with the Bangladesh embassy in Paris, released a commemorative postage stamp marking the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Majibur Rahman. One of the Portraits of Bangabandhu was used on the stamp.
2007	Grand Award (Grameen Phone) in the 17th National Art Exhibition Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (National Academy of Fine and Performing Arts), Dhaka, Bangladesh.
1978-80	Best Class work for oil painting from Institute of Fine Art, Dhaka University.
1977	Best award in sketch (pen & wash) Institute of Fine Art, Dhaka University.
